Allow your subscribers to specify whether they should be receiving html or text emails

Follow the instructions below to allow your subscriber records to specify whether they should be receiving html or text emails from you.

1. Click on MODIFY LIST and then select your list.

2. Go through the step by step wizard and click Add Another Field. Name the field: messageformat

3. Click Continue to Step 3

4. Click Modify My List

3. On the next screen, click on Manage Web Site Plug-in,  then select Customize List Fields.

5. Click on Add Question next to the messageformat field. A new window will open. 

6. Type in the question: "Message Format"

6. In the dropdown for Choose Type of Display, select 'Pull Down Menu'

7. Add two options: html, text for possible answers.

8. Hit Save.
