1. Follow the steps of sending an email until the last step where the application allows you to save the email as a template, send out an email test, edit sent mail criteria, and schedule mail delivery.

Click Edit appearing next to Sent Mail Criteria:. The application displays the Send Mail Criteria page consisting of two tabs – Simple Filtering and Focus Groups.
2. Click Focus Groups tab.
3. Click Create new Test Group.
4. Enter a name for the group in Group Name: box.
5. Select one of the options listed below Send To: heading.
6. Use the Criteria Filter to specify the conditions using which the application will search for appropriate subscribers.
| Note – To filter using wildcards, use the percent sign (%). For example: To filter all email addresses under a specific domain name, use %@domain.com in the VALUE field. |
7. Click Next Steps.
8. The application shows total numbers of subscribers that match the specified criteria.
You can restrict the maximum number of subscribers to be included in a group by specifying the number in the Number of subscribers: box. This functionality enables you to create a group with limited number of subscribers even though several subscribers might match the grouping criterion.
9. By default the application groups the selected subscribers randomly. However, if required, you can group them in an ascending or descending order by selecting a grouping criterion.
10. Click Submit to view the newly created group listed on the Focus Groups page.
